Hello.
I’m Naureen Hussain - a privacy, data governance, and responsible AI specialist with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of law, data, and business transformation.
I started my career as a lawyer, developing sharp critical thinking and a deep understanding of navigating complex risks working with several household brands and listed companies.
But over the past two decades, I’ve operated far beyond the legal silo: reporting directly into C-Suite at big brands like Virgin Media O2 and Huawei, I’ve been embedded within cross-functional teams, leading data-driven transformation, and reimagining governance as a strategic enabler of trust, performance, and innovation.
Today, I work with senior leaders across privacy, risk, data, AI, HR, marketing and beyond - helping them design governance strategies that drive measurable business impact, not just compliance.
My Approach.
At the core of my approach is a deep commitment to people. I build trust and confidence across all levels of an organisation - from executive leadership to cross-functional teams. By fostering collaboration and alignment, I ensure that every solution is not only effective but embraced by the people who bring it to life.
Sharp Legal Insight
My legal background ensures a structured, analytical approach to identifying and mitigating risks, enabling businesses to innovate with confidence in today’s complex regulatory landscape.
People-Centric Leadership
I prioritise building trust, creating psychologically safe environments, and empowering teams to make confident, responsible decisions.
Practical, Tailored Strategies
I craft solutions that address your organisation’s specific goals and challenges - moving beyond compliance to create competitive advantages.
Results That Stick
I embed governance into the heart of your business, leaving you with frameworks that drive sustainable value long after my work is done.

“Naureen possesses a truly rare blend of skills - she is deeply analytical, a sharp critical thinker, and yet highly empathetic and people-focused. Her ability to connect the dots and see the bigger picture is remarkable. She always brought positivity and humour to her leadership, creating psychological safety for her teams and fostering a collaborative, supportive environment.”
COO, UK major corporate
“Naureen combines a powerful skillset - a lawyer’s gift to find the flaw in an argument and a future focussed commerciality that challenges your risk appetite. When you combine this with a naturally engaging people centric approach to change leadership, she is a catalyst to help teams do things they’ve never done before.”
